Caveats
If you're interested in classes but can't attend due to a schedule conflict, please let us know: The age ranges documented below are only guidelines, so it may be possible to enroll a student into another division's class, depending on exact age, height, focus ability, and the target class demographics. It is also possible that additional classes will be added, based on demand.

Note that Level 3 classes are not open to beginners, and that all Youth will be evaluated throughout the first month of instruction to determine whether they are able to focus on fencing in a group environment without becoming overly tired or bored.

Modern Fencing
Modern fencing (also called Olympic fencing, sport fencing, and contemporary western fencing) is safe and fun for all ages. Its weapons are the foil, sabre, and épée. Modern fencing is the most widespread sword art in the world.

Renaissance Martial Arts
The Association for Renaissance Martial Arts (ARMA) practices skills based on the longsword, but also heavily utilizes the rapier, staff, dagger, and buckler, as well as extensive grappling techniques. ARMA is committed to the highest standards of historical accuracy, academic interpretation, and scientific study.

Historical Recreation
The Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) recreates many aspects of European medieval society, including art, science, diet, dress, and social custom. Some members train sword arts such as heavy rapier and broadsword.
